When William Edward Holmes established Holmes Heating Inc. in 1962, he built the business on the belief that our customers deserve to be treated with the highest degree of integrity and receive the best heating, cooling and indoor air quality products and services at the most affordable prices.
Our commitment to quality service and workmanship has enabled us to become one of the largest and most trusted HVAC contractors in Ottawa - a proud third-generation business serving over 25,000 homes in the National Capital Region, from Almonte to Orleans and Kanata to Kemptville.
Holmes Heating and Air Conditioning is a certified member of HRAC (Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors of Canada) and the Better Business Bureau of Ottawa.
Always Growing and Expanding
The past several years has seen Holmes grow to serve our customers in new and better ways. In 2000, we established a new air quality division featuring a wide range of cleaners, filters, humidifiers and ventilators. We now also install whole house humidifiers and ventilation systems and provide duct cleaning services and indoor air quality assessments.
We recently opened a second location in the city's east end, and in September 2007 we'll be opening a new central location, allowing us to cover all of Ottawa's heating and cooling needs - from Kanata to Orleans and everywhere in between.

We believe in giving back to the community whenever we can. In the past few years we have sponsored local sports teams in the Nepean Minor Hockey Association, supported the annual CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) telethon, helped out with Canada Day festivities in Kanata and built four semi-detached homes with Habitat for Humanity. We are also a proud sponsor of the Ottawa Snowsuit Fund and the Walk for Breast Cancer Action. |
